Our Story 

The Roof Service Co. story began in the UK in the 1800's when the first generation of the Smith family (the current Director's Great Grandfather) commenced work in the roofing trade. His trade was passed from father to son and continued down the line eventually creating six unbroken generations of slate roofers. 

Today, Roof Service Co. is a family owned and operated business and the tools, materials and careful craftsmanship we use remain largely unchanged since that first generation.  

The company has built an enviable reputation for importing and installing the highest grade roofing slate in Australia, and we are proud to have been associated with the restoration of some of Australia's most iconic heritage buildings.
